Borrow from another library
Our library is connected to other libraries throughout the state and nation. If you can't find an item in this library, ask library staff to help you get it from another library.
If there is a particular book that we do not have we may be able to get it from another Iowa library. This process is called Interlibrary loan. The amount of time that you are able to keep this item depends on the library that you are getting the item from. When you are contacted that the item has arrived at our library, it is important to come and pick up this item as soon as possible so that it can be returned to this library in a timely fashion. This service at this time is free. We do however appreciate a donation in our donation jar to help with postage costs.
